Career Coaching
Thompson M-TEC’s nationally certified Global Career Development Facilitators are available to help you find your best career path, build your resume, assist with interviewing skills and other job search needs. Our five-step coaching process will provide you with a personalized assessment and plan to help you make the right decisions for you when considering your own career path. Through open dialogue and discussion, guidance, and a plan of action, we will help you discover the next steps for your career and the best way for you to reach your goals.

Career Coaching starts at $150 for two hours, which includes assessment fees, and can go up to $450 for seven hours of coaching depending on your needs.
Career Coaching Steps
- Step 1: Assessment
Students will use ACT’s Talent Assessment to measure work-related attitudes and behaviors. Students will also utilize ACT’s Fit Assessment to measure interests and values and match them to aligned occupations. - Step 2: Review Results
Students will gain an understanding of themselves through an individual meeting with their career coach to review their assessment results. - Step 3: Discover Careers
Students will choose at least three jobs to explore and learn about daily activities, skills and education required, anticipated growth, wage rate, and many more useful decision-making tools. - Step 4: Focus on a Path
Students will begin deciding which career would be best for them based on their assessment results and career exploration. - Step 5: Get Started
Students will lay out their plan for obtaining their chosen career path.
