CNC Machining

Gain experience in set-up procedures and programming of computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines.

Students will learn:

  • Basic machine shop skills
  • Use of precision measurement equipment
  • Blueprint reading
  • shop math calculations
  • On-the-job set-ups
  • G-code programming and part production on the CNC mill and lathe 

Students who successfully complete this program may qualify to apply for CNC programmer position openings.
